Live a Life of Simplicity

Did you know that your home is an extension of your heart?

If you are having a difficult time, it shows up in your home.

Each room in your home is connected to a different part of your life.

Often clutter in the home is a direct result of clutter in your mind or heart.

Each area in your home is important.

Bright and inviting kitchen with calming colors and wellness-focused decor.

Kitchen

The kitchen represents your health.  This is where you prepare meals.  Statistically, if your kitchen is messy, then you won't be cooking healthy meals.

It's necessary to look after ourselves physically - eat well, get exercise, take our vitamins and get good rest.

Did you know that 80% of all physical ailments is due to stress?

When the other wellness factors are out of balance, it often will affect our physical health.

Living Room

The living room represents your social health.  This is where your friends and family visit.  This is where we learn boundaries, and social relationships.

We were created for community!

This is our family, neighbors, co-workers, friends, people in our "groups" - our community and online groups.

It's so important to have a healthy social life.

This is also how we identify ourselves, and know where we belong.

Office

This is where the focus is about organizational skills.

A healthy occupation empowers your sense of worth, contribution and efforts.   Is your occupation where your heart is?

Time management and work place boundaries are important.

Avoid burn-out with self-care.

You can be intentional in challenging yourself daily.

Read and take courses.     Continuing to learn is also important.

Bedroom

This is the place of rest.

You have been uniquely created with a purpose and plan!

What are your personal values?  What you have already experienced is part of your training for your future.

What are your spiritual beliefs?

Where has your journey taken you?

Has it built your trust and your faith?

This is where we discover our sense of true identity and purpose.

A calming arrangement with a towel, a shampoo bottle, a candle, and blooming flowers for relaxation.

Bathroom

This is the room where we cleanse off the things in life that don't belong.  Where we learn about our identity and self-care.

Who do you see when you look in the mirror?

How do you talk to that beautifully created person?

That Spare Room

This is the room that collects everything.

Do you have unfinished projects?  Supplies for activities you no longer do?
